Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 - 12:19 p.m. *** ME IN TAIWAN MENU *** Mind spinning. Thought that might happen coming back to SF. There are always a trillion interesting things going on every day. But you wouldnt necessarily know it walking down the street, cause its got a sort of conservative facade. I know! This doesnt sound like the crazy sexed up, hippy SF that is portrayed worldwide, but its acurate. I would go into more detail, but this diary is about Taiwan and my travel experience there and back. Focus, focus. Here is my horoscope this week from Rob Brezny from the SF Weekly,he usually writes some funny stuff. Mine is not funny this time, but hellishly appropriate. Your assignment in the coming week, Capricorn, is to do the research and meditation necessary so you can accurately complete the following sentence: 'I produce ___________ as an apple tree produces apples.' This statement is pretty much why:1. I am living off of ciggies and red wine 2. I am walking and walking a lot 3. My head hurts 4. I am going mad I really feel spoiled and manic about taking full advantage of this money in the bank and time on my hands situation I am in. Its not enough money to really do anyone of my dream things and come back with ANY left over. And to be honest, I am enjoying being back. I really still a bit disoriented a bit and liking familiar. But my Cappy side with all its fire (my chart details, not necc cappy traits) is going fucking crazy."BE PRODUCTIVE BITCH!" Is pretty much what its saying, wording it diff each time so I dont block it out. Ouch!
But I am enjoying drowning in all the things I missed like: I dont wanna fucking work a 9-5, or at all really. My non Cappy side is throwing a temper tantrum and wanting to drench itself in all things creatively produced and available for my consumption here and now. Dammit. So I am tryin to keep calm and watch these two sides of me battle it out. Hmmm. Meanwhile, I got a response from the hostel in Chile, they wanna know more about me. Yippie.And I got some work exchange here at the Green T. Free room for a couple of hours of cleaning. Enough to keep me off the sublet board of Craigslist for some time, and shut up the part of me that is crying at the $22 per night it costs to stay here. Nice! Well, I have a trillion more notes to type up, and am completely inspired, but there is a line on the free computers again today. Fuck all!
