I am soooooooooooooooooooooo captivated by these guys. I dont understand it. Is it the insane handsomeness of the shorter guy? Is it the geeky confidence of the tall guy? Is it the music? I dont know. But their single "I'd Rather Dance With You." I can NOT stop watching. Holy cow. To me they are teh purrrfect combination of Serge Gainsbourg and Simon and Garfunkel. How is this possible?
Here is the video from Yahoo! Launch: Homelessness. I knew that when I left here I would be in limbo for a bit before I found a sublet in SF. BUT, I kinda screwed myself while I am still here. I just asked my landlord this am about staying until Sept 14th. This is less than a weeks notice to alter my entire rental contract. So I more than understand that its not possible for them to accomodate. But I really didnt see this "no" coming. On some level I think I almost wanted them to say no. I have never had a soft spot for the place, and I think I wanted an excuse to leave early. The apartment, not Taiwan. No worries really. There are loads of cheap options for me here for those two weeks. Its just going to speed up the selling of the material crap I have accumulated. Yikes. Bad eyes day. VERY BAD. Wonder if I will ever see without thinking about it again. Hmm. My co-worker comes back from his over a month vacation on Friday. It will be weird to see him again.I feel like so much has happened since he left. And the dynamic in the office is much diff when he is there. Hard to describe. In some ways its more relaxed cause we tease each other and joke around a lot. And then there are a lot of times when things are stupid cause he puts crap on my desk or is in a bad mood cause of his woman or the new bureaucratic stuff reers (sp?) its ugly head. Mostly it will be great to see him for a few weeks before I go. Gotta go watch a video now! |
