I had my first "last class" tonight at work. I dont leave for another 3 weeks, but my schedule at work is going through some changes to prepare for the new teacher. Oi! This "last" moment is kicking me into introspection mode.

I know I talk a lot about how bitter and cynical I have become about traveling. Its not that being sarcastic, bitter and cynical are new traits for me. lol. Its just that as far as traveling and foreign places in general, I've never reached this state before.

As a matter of fact, the complete opposite is true. My last writing project, a mostly-monthly online travel zine called JUST TRAVELING, was TOO cheery and cheesy as far as I was conerned. But I dont like censoring my tone. And since it was coming out of me that way, I was letting the words roll.

I wondered then if I would ever pass this stage. Thank goddess I have. But now I wonder if I will settle on a happy medium next. I stayed there in cheesy land for what, almost 2 years?
