Pain! Ever feel dry, uncomfortable contact lenses? Well, thats what my eyes have felt like for the past few days. Not a problem, except that I cant take my eyes out and relax! ahhhhhhhh. I am guessing that just like a scab on your leg, the tighening is part of the healing process and cant last forever. oh goddess, I hope not. The pain is not intense, just nearly constant. The walking helps, as does fluids and closing my eyes. But the closing the eye thing I cant do much during work.

I solved one problem with the internet cafes though. I dont know why I didnt think of this sooner. But to drown out the computer game noises around me I started listening to music on the computer. Then yest, I even brought my headphones from home, makes the outside noises even more quiet. It does not drown out the sounds completely, but it helps. And I miss music. MTV and V are nice and all (on my cable TV at home), but its too tempting to watch the videos, and I am really trying to rest the old eyes after work.

Enough with the eye thing!

What else is going on. Oh, we have two more open houses at work in August. One is the day after my last day at work. I dont have to do that one, but since I wont be leaving til tue or so the next week I figure why not. Its a good way to go out I think.

I just dont have it in me to look at my notes today to tell you anything interesting or funny about Taiwan. I dont even wanna be online right now, the pain is that annoying. But I left for work early today and its starting to get a bit hot out there, so I thought I would get some ice coffee and AC on the way. So here I am.
