Q&A Thanks to everyone who emailed me with questions about our MERCHANDISE....there is still plently available, SO, I REPEAT! If you enjoy this site, PLEASE BUY MY MERCHANDISE. I now have 40 days left in Taiwan and dont really wanna throw this stuff away. See the "Merchandise" link above. All T-shirts are on sale for a rock bottom $10 US. With international shipping and initial cost this is a LOSS for me. But I dont care, I just want them to find a good home! I mentioned the book, Holy Cow, earlier in the month. I finished it last week. It did get a bit more sentimental than I wanted, but her candid observations and humorous tone more than made up for this fluff. There is one thing that struck me as I was reading it. The author (lead character and narrator) went through extraordinary changes in her thinking and ways of dealing with what she was experiencing. I dont feel that I have changed, grown or added on any POSITIVE character traits while I have been here. I may find this to be quite different when I leave and get some perspective on the situation, but right now I just feel that I have regressed, in a very bad way. I am starting to feel good about leaving, and selling the computer seems to be the start of the end. But I hate the idea of having been here so long (for me) and NOT having learned or grown or changed. Defeats the purpose of traveling, doesnt it? Oh well, my time is almost up here at the internet cafe. And even if it werent, if I stay any longer I am running the risk of WWFing this friggin idiot who is having a screaming conversation with his friend across the room. Why not just sit next to him, you shmoo! |
