Little sidenote before the ranting begins. Taiwan may get its first typhoon of the season. Heavy rains, high winds, and all that. I am skeptical cause last time they said this we didnt even get a sprinkle. But this time I think it might happen. So, here I go to 7-11 at 1am to pick up some water and noodles. You never know. And IF this thing does hit, its supposed to be VERY dangerous to leave your building. Winds and flying debris. Hmmmm.

There was an apology posting today on the Yahoo! Tainan site. It sounded VERY overdone and fearful. I wont post it here for numerous reasons, but I am sick to my stomach.

Without knowing the details of what went down between the school and the individual who posted it, it makes my mind wander about what kind of tactics were used to make this person write such an apology letter. I will not speculate. Just hang my head low and sigh.

I understand the need to protect yourself, but also wonder WHY a person who initially wanted to create a website to HELP other foreigners distinguiush good from bad schools would choose to write such a secretive and shamefilled retraction about a school that they thought was bad enough to use as an example.

Enough said. I am going to sleep now and hopefully will have a nice, pervy dream to shake this sick feeling from me.
